About This Item
NY: Harper & Brothers, 1927. First Edition . Hardcover. Near Fine/Near Fine. Stated First Edition, with publisher's code "I-B". Near fine with a near fine dust jacket. Book and jacket are in exceptional condition. The book has just minor handling wear. The orange jacket has tiny chips at edges, but the orange and black colors are bright and fresh. Book has either dark blue or black cloth, with lettering on spine and front boards also in black; difficult to read except in the right light. $2.00 price on jacket flap; no names or other markings in the book. Interestingly, the page facing the Contents page says "The diary pages reproduced on the end papers of this book are from the diary kept by Theodore Roosevelt during the Spanish War." The endpapers on this copy are plain white endpapers.
