New York: Roy Publishers, 1951. 1951, First US Edition, VERY GOOD+ in VERY GOOD dust jacket. A clean, totally unmarked copy, firmly bound in black cloth hardcover, title gilt-stamped on spine. Pages fine; very slight shelf wear to cover, gilt a bit dulled. Binding and hinges firm, intact and straight. Pictorial jacket is clean, edges lightly worn and some rubbing along spine folds. Front flap price clipped. The jacket is in a clear archival protector. An enchanting series of short prose pieces and essays with the theme of London, including a fantasy of flying saucers and Martians visiting London in 2051.
