Society for Promoting Christian Knowledge; undated. No edition remarks. 'To Candidates for Confirmation, Past, Present, and to Come, especially those of the Parish of Kirkhaugh'. Green cloth covered boards with gilt and black decoration and lettering to front and spine. Spine is slightly discoloured. Corners bumped and rubbed. Brown end papers front and back internal hinge slightly cracked. No inscriptions. Age spotting to front few pages and back couple of pages otherwise clean.
