The binding is tight with hinges intact.  The dust jacket is still in one piece, with price intact, but soiled and shelfworn, with wear along edges and folds.

A very good tightly bound copy with a clean and unmarked text, issued in an edition limited to 700 copies of which this is numbered 527. Signed by both author and illustrator on limitation page.A loosely inserted customs label indicates this was the copy sent to Mr Frank Maggs of Maggs & Co, Berkeley Square.
