Paris: Libraires Associes, 1797. Hardcover. Very Good-. Meditations on the Revolutions of Empires". Written on the eve of the Frernch Revolution, and published during it. This 12mo version could be an early printing of the 3rd edition, but I rather think it is a later printing of the 2nd. Vg- in half leather with marbled boards; has about an inch and a half of worm damage on one side of the spine of vol. 2. All corners are worn. Tops are dust-darkened, but the text is as clean as you could wish, as are the frontispiece and 2 folding maps in vol. 1. 246 + 272 pp.
