A rendered facsimile dust jacket for the English (UK) Jonathan Cape first edition book of FROM RUSSIA WITH LOVE, the first of the James Bond series books, which was published in 1960s. The jacket was rendered by artist John Anthony Miller and archival ink and special paper were used. Jacket comes trimmed and enclosed in a Mylar jacket protector, ready to put on the book. There will be an attached signed label on the verso of the jacket signed and stating that this is a facsimile dust jacket. On the rear bottom of the jacket flap there is the artist's "JAM" monogram over "Facsimile Dust Jacket" very discreetingly done, tastefully- but to let those know that this is facsimile dust jacket. After Fleming's original texts were exhausted the third series continued, penned by others from 1969-76. A well-read set in uniformly worn jackets; discreet owner name to FRWL, owner's blind stamp to 'LLD', wrappers with chips and tears, some toning to spine panels, tape marks to 'DN'. Overall a good, used set. Uncommon to find complete, as here.
