Volume 1, Number 1 through Volume 2, Number 12, New York, January, 1851 - December, 1952. 13 x 10 in. Early green cloth, title and date range gilt-stamped on front cover. Overall lightly soiled and worn, few light stains, about a vertical inch of the cloth missing from center of spine. Interior lightly foxed, engraving from another source pasted onto blank preliminary leaf, of the 4 blank pages separating the two years' issue one blank page partly torn away. 4 pages per number, wide-variety of subjects, some small and larger engravings within text, one shows printer in printing office selecting type. Together 24 issues bound in one volume, 96 pages, published by the Seventh-Day Baptist Publishing Society.; Engravings; 13 x 10 inches; 96 pages .
