Oxonii [Oxford]: E Theatro Sheldoniano, Impensis Jacob. Fletcher Bibliop. Oxon. ; Prostat apud J. Rivington & J. Fletcher Bibliop. Lond, 1757. Boards. [4], 31, [1] pp., boards. 8 x 5 in. Bound in red (faded) cloth, leather spine label with gilt lettering. Two leaves of modern paper inserted between the first two leaves. A handwritten number on the title page ("6"). A Latin poem about rural priesthood by the preacher and scholar (a supporter of then-modern philosophers like Locke) associated with Oxford University. In this copy, the author's name has been supplied in manuscript on the title page. A blank portion of the middle of the title page has been carefully excised (possibly a previous owner's inscription).
