Offsetting on the front pastedown and free endpage; dustjacket with short stray ink line on the spine and few shallow edge creases. Tight copy in Near Fine condition in a Very Good dustjacket with an archival cover. Steeple Ashton in Oxfordshire was the location of Murdoch's home, Cedar Lodge. The recipient of Murdoch's note was a friend and collector of Murdoch's work. His business card is also laid-in. Signed with Holograph Note Laid-in. First Edition. Hardcovers. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Murdoch's sixteenth novel. Whitbread Award winner.
