Colour illustrated laminated boards with brown and blue coloured titles to the front panel and blue and dark red coloured titles to the back strip. In 1580 Rabbi Yehuda Loevy ben Bezalel created a supernatural protector of the Jews of Prague to help them through the latest round of persecution. After the persecutors were defeated the Golem was retired. But, in 1605 the Breastplate of Judgement (Coshen Mishpat), treasured by the Jews as it was worn by the high priest in ancient Israel, is rediscovered, stolen and abused.
