The book and its contents are in generally clean, bright condition. The spine ends and corners of the book covers have some bumping, rubbing and nicking. There are several small spots of dirt and some ground-in dirt to the book covers. The text pages are clean and bright. The front pastedown page has the bookplate of Dave Hennen Morris: David Hennen "Dave" Morris (April 24, 1872 – May 4, 1944) was an American lawyer, diplomat, and Thoroughbred racehorse owner who co-founded the International Auxiliary Language Association (IALA)." "From 1933 to 1937, he was the United States Ambassador to Belgium and Envoy to Luxembourg. During this joint appointment, he resided in Belgium, where he and his wife continued to make international contacts for the language that would later take the name Interlingua." (from Wikipedia) .
