About This Item
New York, NY.: Random House. Very Good. 1939. First Edition; First Printing. Hardcover in Dust Jacket. This book is hard-bound in red cloth with gilt and black stamping on the spine in a very nice dust jacket with light soiling on the lower panel and light edge-wear. The binding is solid. The contents are bright and generally clean, with a bit of faint foxing to the fore-edge/outer edge of the pages. --- From the American First Editions collection of Donald C. Scriven (1948-2019). Don relished points of issue and the primacy of the dust jacket but above all he loved the literature! .
