London: Hodder & Stoughton, 1967. 1st Edition. Hardcover. Near Fine/Fine/Near Fine. 8vo., 256pp. Beautiful First UK Edition. Bound in green cloth with titles in gilt on spine. Square, tight and solid throughout with little or no wear save a tiny gentle bump at the crown and heel. No toning or spotting. Very attractive unclipped dust-jacket, (21s net), has some rubbing to folds and rear hinge. Light soiling. Still quite fresh and bright with no chipping, creases or tears. Anthology of tales from The Saint Magazine, introduced by Charteris. A very pretty collectable copy and surprisingly quite uncommon. (Hubin p.76; Barer p.397).
