NY: Harcourt Brace, 1935. 1st Edition. Hardcover. Near Fine/Very Good. First edition in first state dustjacket. Ownership copy of attorney Arthur Leonard Ross (d. 1975) who was a friend of Emma Goldman and represented the literary estates of Fred Harris and the like. With Ross' printed bookplate drawn by German artist Otto Ubbelohde and engraved by Botho Schmidt. SIGNED BY KENT in the inset at bottom of bookplate. Unclipped dustjacket ($3.75) toned, more darkly at spine and edges. Blue cloth with silver pressed spine near fine, with internals quite nice. A solid copy with interesting provenance.
