Marion & Co, 1895. Hardcover. Very Good Condition/No Dust Jacket. Uncommon collection of short essays with many b/w plates which look to have also been published as postcards. No printed date , only copy traced is in the Royal Collection - their entry gives a date of 1895. The publishers appear to have been specialists in photographic view books c1860-1900. Presentable, clean, tight and sound copy. Front inner joint cracked but secure. Original cloth binding, floral endpapers, gilt lettered, slightly rubbed at extremities. No inscriptions. Ex library but with few markings internally. Small shelf marks on spine. Not paginated - 40 pages printed rectos only, b/w plates . Size approx. 11" by 9". Quantity Available: 1.
