Oblong quarto, blue cloth covered boards with gilt title and spine titles. 226pp. plus 36 pages comprising two essays by collector A. Reynolds Morse and Eleanor Morse, "Reminiscences and Reassessments". Very generously illustrated throughout with 400 analytical reproductions in color and black and white and explanations and interpretations of the paintings. Includes a biographical chronology, bibliography and black and white photographs of the artist and scenes from his life. An extraordinarily intimate detailed look into the major paintings of Salvador Dali by one of the most important collectors and intimates of the artist. Laid in is a 10 page 1983 "Brief Guide to the Museum With explanations of the major paitnings". A very tight, clean, fresh and unmarked volume with bright gilt and interior, in a dust jacket with a thumb-sized chip at top of spine and a very short closed tear at top fore corner. Fine in very good dust jacket..
