This edition includes four color illustrations by N. C. Wyeth on plates. An entry in Heroes of the Olden Time series. --- In full brown cloth-covered boards with Wyeth illustrations in blue, grey and gilt to cover and spine; cover & spine titling on gilt and blue. --- A weakened front hinge has been carefully repaired with Japan hinging tissue on this item. With dulling to spine gilding, making it almost unreadable; also with gift inscription to front free endpaper and some pencilings to endpapers, along with a little chafing & soiling to cloth.
