G. Giunta, Venice,, 1543. Book measures 24x18.cm. Collation, [4], 242 leaves. Frontispiece printed in red and black within woodcut ornamental border incorporating busts of Fathers of the Church, Gothic letter, double column, small vignettes in text and historiated initials showing Saints portraits and martyrdoms throughout. Bound in early full vellum, raised bands, paper labels. Vellum dust/age marked, hinge joints have wear lines, slightly split, but boards holding firm, slightly sprung, abrasion wear to labels. Generally a good attractive solid binding. Internally, light staining to first and last 30 leaves, small secition of text on one page erased. Pages in good clean condition. A very nice copy. . Third Edition. Vellum. Very Good. Quarto.

We are a long established company dealing in second-hand, out of print and antiquarian books on all subjects. We are based in Hertfordshire, just 2 miles north of Junction 25 of the M25. We are members of the PBFA and exhibit at a large number of their fairs across the UK.
