Philadelphia. 798 pp. Pebbled black cloth and quarter leather over spine. Appears to be a late 19th century binding. Leahter of poor quality split in the joints and held by old tape. Prior owner name penned at front with a note "56 signers" also penned there. Illustrated with steel palte engravings and with fold-out facsimile of the draft of the Declaration with some light paper repairs to blank versos. Possibly bound without a section on several other signers at rear. Binding or rebacking copy. Fair to good only .

Book is in Good+ condition, with very light edgewear to cover. Part of what looks to be an old bird dropping on the lower rear side of spine?
Prior owner name written on front endpaper. Some numbers noted in pencil in top corner of front pastedown. Some foxing/discoloration throughout on pages. Small pencil check marks next to some of the names on the table of contents.

Old faint dampstains, but a sturdy example, mostly clean internally, with mild scattered foxing. Appears to be an uncommon mid-10th century edition, containing a foldout facsimile of a draft of the Declaration of Independence, and facsimile signatures of the signers.
