Sanford (Campbell, California), 9 3/8 x 12 1/4 inches tall pictorial hardcover, copiously illustrated with black-and-white and color photographs, 144 pp. - Very slight rubbing to covers. Prior owner (antique seller) address label to top margin of front pastedown. Nicely inscribed and signed on the title page by author Steve Sanford. Otherwise, a near fine copy - clean, bright and unmarked. Note that this is a heavy and oversized book, so additional postage will be required for international or priority orders. ~Q~ [3.0P] This book catalogs an extensive collection of pottery manufactured by the Peters and Reed Pottery Company and the Zane Pottery Company of South Zanesville, Ohio from 1898 to 1941. The book covers the history of the pottery and has color photographs of examples of all the lines. Original catalog sheets are shown on all the lines manufactured and pieces are listed with the size and mold number.
