First edition 1st printing, Fine minus unread book that has a few spots of light foxing on page edges, in a Near Fine jacket that has slight edge wear, mild rubbing and light sunning top portion of spine. This copy signed by the author on the half title page. An account of the development of the colonies of writers and artists in New Mexico, which attracted notables such as D. H. Lawrence and Georgia O’Keeffe, and many others. Book is illustrated with numerous photographs.
