An account of the life of the voracious August II, Elector of Saxony and King of Poland, particularly his love life and numerous illegitimate children. Engraved device of Hermes on the title page. Minor soiling and writing in pencil to the endpapers; some loss and wear to the binding, repaired by a conservator. Full leather, with raised bands. Very Good binding.
