About This Item

Stapled. Two-hole-punched. Good German Political History [Frankfurt] [1970] orig. wrappers 30x20cm, 26 pages. This is a single issue nr. 46 [16 May 1970] of the irregular German New Left periodical issued between 1969-1971. ["In the early days, the editors consisted of Sonja Krause, Hans Dieter Tapp, Hannes Weinrich, Karl- Dietrich Wolff. Daniel Cohn-Bendit, Frank Wolff and others join them later.Only at a later point in time does responsibility for individual issues pass to the "Red March Group" (No. 47), then to the grassroots political science group, BPG, Communist Group, Pedagogue Group, Socialist Workers Group (SAG), Gallus district group (No . 48/49) and most recently on the Revolutionary Struggle (RK) and M.A.O. above. The "SC-Info" will probably appear for the last time with issue 59 of August 9, 1971...,.In addition to reports on political actions, conferences and meetings of individual groups (e.g. the SDS, grassroots and district groups), various collectives, the analysis of political movements (e.g. the "Black Panther Party", the September strikes of 1969), the presentation of grassroots work and expressions of solidarity (e.g. with Vietnam, Cambodia, the Third World) is the most important event, the split of the "SC-Info". In May 1970, a group split off and from then on formed the "Red March Group", which immediately followed up with a "Declaration of the Red March Group" ("SC- Info", No. 47). ..,. announced the "cessation of cooperation in the overall editorial team" and went on to explain that in " the current phase the construction of the proletarian party is paramount". - translation from mao project de website].
