1953,Hardcover with Priced Dust Jacket, First Edition, First Printing of "Flight into Space" by Jonathan Norton Leonard. This book was written at the beginning of the space age, before Sputnik, but during the rocket test trials in White Sands New Mexico. Leonard was the science editor of Time Magazines. He seperates the facts of space flight from the theories and fictions from a 1953 perspective. the priced dust jacket displays wear and some soiling. The silver gilt lettering and the decoration o the front board and spine is bright and vibrant. There is no writing. Pages are clean. Square book.
