Two pages have marks made by a marker. Looks like a child got a hold of it. One page has a tear that was repaired with clear tape. Paperback. Fair. Good, solid reading copy with clean, unmarked text. The cover is still solidly attached but shows some overall wear including a small scratch of facia loss in the last three letters of the author's name. There is some writing on the inside cover and the flyleaf.

First edition thus of the revised text, originally published in hardcover by the Dial Press in 1947, and as a paperback called "The Scarf of Passion," by Avon in 1948. Bloch's novel, and a favorite of Stephen King's.
