New York: WORLD PUBLISHING, 1971. Book. Very Good. Hardcover. First Edition/First Printing. A square solid tight carefully read copy. The edges of the text block are browning somewhat as is pretty normal for this copy. A pretty example of the jacket with only two main drawbacks.....the first state jacket has been PC and there an inch and a half crack that some one has made an attempt to repair with scotch tape. You could do a LOT worse then this copy. Ludlum's first novel. THIS COPY IS IN MY POSSESSION AND NORMALLY SHIPS NEXT DAY.
Synopsis
The Scarlatti Inheritance is the first of 25 novels written by American author Robert Ludlum. The political thriller involves espionage and international secrets, two themes that Ludlum favored in later novels as well, such as The Bourne Identity (1980). Many of Ludlum’s novels have been made into films and mini-series. However, The Scarlatti Inheritance was never made into a film, despite the fact the rights were sold and scripts were worked on.
