About This Item

New York: World Publishing Co, 1971. Stated First Printing. Hardcover in red leatherette boards. Near Fine/Good. A very good first printing complete with the problematic acetate jacket. Jacket has a few small chips missing or loosening at the head and tail of the spine, and at the top edge of the back cover. Some discoloration and rubbing of the acetate cover is noted. The book is near fine. Square and bright with tight binding - very well preserved, light toning of the pages present.

An excellent copy complete with the funky DJ of a book that is becoming more scarce with the DJ present.

Synopsis

The Scarlatti Inheritance is the first of 25 novels written by American author Robert Ludlum. The political thriller involves espionage and international secrets, two themes that Ludlum favored in later novels as well, such as The Bourne Identity (1980). Many of Ludlum’s novels have been made into films and mini-series. However, The Scarlatti Inheritance was never made into a film, despite the fact the rights were sold and scripts were worked on.

About Librariana Fine Books

We believe that a library is much more than a room or a space. A library is a place to work, rest, love, think and dream. It is the heart of the home.

Our mission is to help individuals, families and organizations furnish their bookspaces in a way that reflects their personality and values.

Beginning with fine books, and extending to other "librariana" - art, antiques and collectibles that make a space a library. We also repair books, and consult with home owners, organizations and bookstore owners looking to make their bookspaces into purposeful sanctuaries.

Whether your bookspace is a corner shelf in a bedroom, or a grand corporate space for meetings and work, Librariana can help "improve your library".
