London, Harris and Son, 1821 3rd. Small hardback, approx 7 x 4 inches (17 x 10.5 cm.) Half bound card boards with red leather spine. B&W illustration and lettering to boards. Gilt banding and lettering to spine. Blue speckled page edges. Plain endpapers. In very good condition. Some minor darkening to boards, corners rubbed and bumped, small chips to bottom corners of boards and top end of spine. Small nick to edge nr. top corner of front board. Some minor darkening to endpapers, neat inscription to top edge of title page “From Aunt Sarah to Joseph Barnard, May 1826.” Some tanning to pages and some small minor light foxing spots here and there, minor crack between p60, else plates overall very clean and bright and pages clean and tight. 127pp + 1pp advert. Illustrated with a folding B&W engraved map, and 84 scenes over 28 B&W engraved plates (3 scenes per plate.)
