About This Item
Turnbridge Wells, Kent, ENG: Search Press(UK). Near Fine. 1995. First Edition. Paperback. 64 pages. Written by the author of "Polly Pinder's Party Cakes" and "Herbs in Pots", this book shows how simple paper-making can be, and how the decorative options are limited only by the imagination: inlay garden herbs such as sage, mint or sweet cicely in paper, or roses and lavender, cinnamon, blackberries and orange rind; add colour with natural colour from elderberries, rosehips or onion skins; emboss it with leaves and lace; scent it with essential oils; and make impressions using string or cork. Experiment with this inexpensive craft to create a range of scented papers and finished items, such as writing paper and envelopes, book marks, lampshades, book covers, candleshades, place settings, paper roses, jewellery, covered boxes and drawer liners. .
