There is a chapter about Bongaree, the Aboriginal guide who accompanied Matthew Flinders. The author has identified Bribie as a Moreton Bay fish-hawking convict but it is uncertain if Bribie was a firstname or surname, but he definitely was a convict who made baskets to earn money.
