Plus numerous colour and monochromatic tipped-in plates, many with semitransparent overlays printed in red; one folding map. HARDCOVER, bound in the original publisher's buckram, brown lettering to cover and spine, pictorial endpapers, with pictorial dust-jacket with some tears and repairs but still very nice; old signature to top corner of half-title. Book itself is in fine condition. Excellent copy, very well preserved, with all the wonderful plates in mint condition. ~ FIRST EDITION. A splendid production. _O-1
