London: Geoffrey Bles, 1971. First biography after Schweitzer's death, with forward by his daughter, Rhena. Grey covers with gilt, 342pp inc index with black endpapers and two blocs of b/w illustrations. Book has a couple of light marks and light foxing on page edges, sunned top covers edges and light bumping to head and foot of spine, but little sign of wear. Unclipped DJ has light sunning to edges, slightly beached red spine lettering, but very little wear. Internally very clean and tight and overall a VG copy. Ref:093296. First Edition. Cloth. VG+/VG. 16x23.5cm.
