Text is accompanied by stunning coloured plates depicting the areas by Sutton Palmer and G. F. Nicholls. An excellent travel work in Adam and Charles Black series, also featuring a map in black and white. In the original publisher's full cloth binding. Externally lovely with only minor bumping to head and tail of spine. Internally, firmly bound. Minor spotting to fore edge affecting the first and last few leaves and occasional outer margin, otherwise pages generally bright and clean throughout.
