About This Item
London: Olympia Press, 1971. First Edition. (London: Olympia Press 191971). First UK Trade Edition. A softback publication. Radical feminist manifesto made famous by the Author attempting to shoot Andy Warhol at the Factory in 1968. It was originally self-published by the Author in an edition of 2,000 mimeographed copies. The First UK Trade Edition is considerably scarcer than its US counterpart and was published in the UK when the Olympia Press relocated briefly to the UK and when the Author ;eft prison for attempted murder. This is a VG+ copy with a former owner's neat name on the front free end-paper. The spine and red portion of the front panel is un-faded (and scarce thus). None of the usual creasing so often seen with this book. Extraordinary and enduring classic radical feminist manifesto. Rare. Photographs/scans available upon request.
