London: William Hodge and Company, Limited, 1952. First British edition. Hardback. In original unclipped dust jacket. Now in protective wrap. Red cloth with gilt title to spine. The map end papers have some age toning in line with the dust jacket. Inside is clean. The dust jacket has a little age-toning and some light rubbing / chips to the corners. Overall a good example. 296 pages. 225 x 145 mm (8¾ x 5¾ inches).
