London: Longman, Brown, Green and Longmans, 1847. “Second Edition” of this illustrated edition. Bound in full green morocco (the binding is dated 1850); all edges gilt; gilt decorated boards and spine; only very light wear and with very moderate foxing; a very attractive volume. This copy bears the 1869 inscription of Edward Coleridge (nephew of Samuel Taylor Coleridge) noting that this copy, upon his death, was to pass to his son.
