Includes engraved titles; frontispiece; medallion portrait after Gravelot by LeRoy; 12 plates after Gravelot by Duclos, Nee, Pasquier, Rousseau, and Simonet; and 12 headpieces after Gravelot, LeRoy, Marillier, and Queverdo by LeRoy. One of the best eighteenth-century illustrated books. Gravelot was one of the major book illustrators of the time. . Good. Hard Bound. 1766.
