Book. Very Good. Cloth. First Edition. Small folio, black cloth covered boards. 13 pp. of text including list of plates and brief introduction, followed by 100 full page black and white radiographs (x-ray photographs) of flowers from the garden, trees and shrubs. A fascinating visual display of the morphology of floral specimens, and a genuinely unique exercise in botanical photography. This volume is gently ex-library with a beautifully preserved dust jacket in heavy mylar protector (taped) on a volume which is equally bright, clean and fresh. There are minimal internal library marks on the front pastedown and contents page, which are very inconspicuous and there are NO MARKS thereafter. All of the images are bright, crisp, fine and unblemished. The free front endpaper has been removed. Overall a very good plus to near fine volume in a near fine dust jacket. Despite the defects noted a very attractive and undiminshed copy of this remarkable and scarce work..
