New York: G. P. Putnam's Sons, 1946. as is, ex-lib., fr flap only. 433, appendix, index, few library markings, front board weak, binding cracked at p. 86, boards quite stained. Discoloration inside boards and flyleaves, top corner of pp. 329-349 bent, front DJ flap has been cut off and pasted inside front flyleaf (rest of dust jacket is not present). Inscribed by the author. The author was deputy chief of Naval Intelligence in World War II. His master stroke of psychological warfare broke the Japanese will to resist--before the atom bombing of Hiroshima.
