About This Item
London: Protestant Truth Society, c1950. Cloth. Fine/Very Good. 7.5" by 5" . None . A rare anti-Catholic fiction by Rosamond E. Oak, complete with the unclipped dust wrapper. A lovely copy. A very rare copy of this work, not held in any institutional libraries. Dated from its contents. An anti-Catholic fiction novel by Rosamond E. Oak, published by the Protestant Truth Society. The Society was founded in 1889 by John Kensit to take a stand against Romanism within Church and nation - this novel reflects protestant idealism. Complete with its original unclipped dust wrapper. In the original publisher's full cloth binding. Externally lovely. The dust wrapper is sound with shelf wear and chipping, loss to the head and tail of the spine and light soiling to the wraps, unclipped. Minor tape repairing internally to the rear wrap. Internally, firmly bound. The pages are bright and clean. Fine
