No reference to printing, very good + hardcover shows previous owner name at front end paper, alogn with rubbing and bumping to cover edges includign bit of tearing with exposure of baord beneath at bottom corner of front cover, and with some other mild trace wear, in very good dust jacket (price at flap) showign touch of darkening alogn spine, light soil and edge wear including short closed tears and tiny open chipping. 270 pages. Still an attractive copy of this this work that covers Merton's years prior to becoming a Trappist that "..starts in Greenwich Village, moves to Cuba, returns to St. Bonaventure's and Harlem, and ends on the threshold of Gethsemani.
