Grand Rapids, Michigan: Wm. B. Eerdmans Publishing Company, 1956. Hardcover. Fair/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. Octavos. Variously paginated. 8 Volume Set. Hardcovers bound in grey cloth with spine titles on green backgrounds. An ex-library set with shelf numbers on the spines. Condition varies. Most volumes are quite sound. Volume I has heavy underlining in the first section, being the "Confessions" of Augustine (pages 46-201). The rest of that volume is clean within, and there does not appear to be underlining in the rest of the volumes. There is some damping to the front cover of Volume II, resulting in some wrinkles or waviness in the cloth. All eight volume contain writings of St. Augustine. All volumes dated 1956.
