Hardback, 1909, first edition, published by Andrew Melrose, London, 278 pages.
Measures around 4.75" by 7.25". Greenish cloth boards and spine, a little scuffed, marked and discoloured at edges. Crest to front board. Signs of rubbing and shelf-wear but quite clean and colour has mostly been retained in boards. Spine faded but gilt lettering still very visible. Signs of shelf-wear, small tearing at top of spine. Corners bumped. Binding firm. A little browning to page edges but quite clean. Marking to endpapers. The odd mark throughout but otherwise page surfaces clean, with no marginalia, underlining, etc. See pictures for further information.
