Black contrasting panels to spine, with gilt lettering within bearing author's last name and publisher, with title itself being simply gilt on the blue cloth, and still-fairly-bright gilt titling to spine. Hardly noticeable shelf rubbing to spinecaps. Hinge just started Volume III, rendering book just slightly shaken. Some sunning, soiling and very light chipping to dustjackets. Faint, and not displeasing, pipe aroma.
