London: Smith, Elder & Co, 1888. Hardcover. Very Good. Red morocco boards with gilt lines and EBB monogram, gilt lettering to spine. Spine is a little faded and bumped and there are slight markings. Pages are gilt edged. Black pastedowns with two beautiful bookplates, one an original ink sketch of a sailing ship. This is glued on but was previously slipped in as small cut marks remain. Slight lean. This is a New Edition, first series and a very attractive volume Very Good 1888
