About This Item
Self-published, 1980. Original wraps. Near Fine. Fascinating 1980 artist's book, self-published and signed in pencil by the artist, Janice Snyder, on the front free endpaper. Clean and Near Fine in its stapled, off-white, pictorial wrappers. On each verso, the same dense text and on each facing recto, a specific phrase from the text, below a captioned illustration. All 16 captioned illustrations (each one different) use a different phrase from the text. The overall effect is impressive and also beguiling.
