Red boards with a large split to cloth on front hinge revealing some of the binding, bumped corners, fading to spine, rubbing to corners, edges and hinges and boards have a general dusty appearance. Page edges are tanned, eps are somewhat grubby and there is a previous owner's name on fep. Text is tight, bright and clean except for a little marking to pages 76 and 77 book is signed on title page by the author. With charming illustrations throughout.
