Autobiography of her life in old and new Korea. "How the stubborn, curious child, cut loose from centuries-old traditions, emerged into responsible world citizenship in some of the stormiest times yet known to man...." Pahk attended Korea's first high school for girls, also was in prison for her involvement with the independence movement. Black cloth and boards worn along bottom edges. Dust jacket chipped and worn at corners with some water stains. Good/Fair.
