In fine condition. 23 pp. *** FIRST and ONLY EDITION of this sermon calling for the end of a yellow fever outbreak. The author, about whom little is known, was dean of the Sé Cathedral in Lisbon, and a member of the Academia Real das Sciencias. *** Porbase locates a single copy, at Biblioteca Nacional de Portugal. Not located in Jisc. KVK (51 databases searched) locates only the copy cited by Porbase.
