Strassburg: [Printer of the 1483 Jordanus de Quedlinburg (Georg Husner)], 1496. First Edition. Hardcover (Full Leather). Very Good Condition. Modern full calf, hinges rubbed, spine dry. Bookplate and catalog entry on the added endpapers. Lacking the six word title page and the blanks (the eighth and final two leaves) but otherwise complete. Dampstains in the margins early on and paper repairs to the first and final leaves of the table but with no loss of text; manuscript note to first table leaf and a short note on the verso of CLXI. Scattered minor browning, repair to the bottom margin of CXXXVI, slight dampstaining to the bottom margin towards the end, but mostly quite clean - spaces left for Capitals but none have been added. With a few verses in an early German hand on the verso of the final leaf. 184 of 188 leaves. 7 3/8' x 5". Goff B942.
